Mrs. Kim Burney
As an RHS alumni I find it a great honor to serve the students at a school which instilled in me a great love for education. I hope to continue that tradition to the best of my ability with the students which come into my classroom.
I currently hold a B.S. and M.A. in secondary education and social studies from the University of North Alabama. Upon graduating UNA I started my career by teaching middle school history and Bible classes at Covenant Christian School for six years. In 1997 I was given the opportunity to teach at RHS. This year I have the pleasure of teaching an awesome group of juniors who have chosen to take the APUSH challenge. I am also sponsoring an American History Honors Club for students who enjoy learning about our great nation and our civic duties as Americans.
