I am a NCST STEM Certified teacher and teach AP Biology and Dual Enrollment Biology through Northwest Shoals Community College. Currently serve as Biology Content Advisory Panel for Pearsons NES Testing, Science Club sponsor, recycling coordinator, Future Teachers of Alabama sponsor. University of North Alabama graduate with BSEd in Biology & Geology, Masters in Biology. Former department chair for 18 years and taught Anatomy and Zoology. Also former Alabama Science Teachers Association District 1 Director, and ACCESS online.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, yoga, reading, gardening and watching Bama football. My superpower is rescuing and fostering animals!!
