I am currently in my 32nd year of teaching.  I graduated from the University of North Alabama in May 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education, Summa Cum Laude.  I began my teaching career the following fall with the Decatur City School System.  After completing two years with Decatur City Schools, I obtained my Master of Arts Degree in Business and Marketing Education from the University of North Alabama and accepted a business education position with Russellville City Schools in the summer of 1994.  I earned Master's certification in the field of Educational Administration in May 2002.  I earned an Ed.S. Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of Alabama in August 2009.  I graduated from the University of Alabama with my Doctorate Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership in December 2015.  Roll Tide!

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Mark Holland, for 31 years, and we have two children. Our son, Chase, is 27 years old and a graduate of Russellville High School (Go Golden Tigers!) and is a licensed operator with the Local 320.  He married his high school sweetheart, Lauren Alford, on June 13, 2020. Our beautiful daughter-in-law, Lauren, is in her fifth year of teaching at RMS.  Our daughter, Kaydee Don, is 21 years old (also a RHS graduate), and she is attending the University of North Alabama. She is a senior, enjoying cheering on the Lions and teaching gymnastics, and she will graduate in December. We love the outdoors, Golden Tiger sports, UNA sports, Alabama football, traveling, boating, vacationing with the Swinneys and the Christensens, and are very involved with our church.
