Hello! This is my 8th year at Russellville Middle School. I am a 2008 graduate of Russellville High School. After graduation, I attended Northwest Shoals Community College for two years, and then transferred to Athens State University. I graduated from Athens State in December 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Collaborative K-6. I was hired at Russellville Middle School in August 2013, to be a paraprofessional in the Multiple Disabilities classroom. In May of 2014, I was hired as the teacher for the Multiple Disabilities classroom.  In May 2015, I graduated from the University of West Alabama with a Masters Degree in Special Education Collaborative K-6 &6-12.  I am married to Byron Hellums. We have one little girl, Sloan. We enjoy traveling, being active with our church, and spending time with our families. I am very happy to be teaching in the school system in which I attended as a student!
