Hi, my name is Alana Parker and I am honored to teach elective classes here at RMS!

About Me:

Born and raised in Franklin County, I graduated from Russellville High School in 2000. Upon graduation, I attended UNA where I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2004. I was privileged to work in local, community banks for 22 years where I learned a host of professional, financial, and life skills. In 2022, I changed careers and joined the RMS family. Currently I teach Media Arts, Entrepreneurship and Financial Services, and Leadership classes. I am also the RMS Ambassador sponsor.

About My Family:

I've been married to my sweetheart, Chris, for almost 19 years. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran and currently serves as Production Manager at Clayton Homes here in Russellville. Together, we have three children who attend Russellville City Schools. Cade is in 11th grade, Mackie Drew is in 6th grade, and Thomas (a.k.a. TomHat) is in 2nd grade. Cade enjoys being a part of the RHS football and tennis teams, Mackie Drew loves to dance and is part of the AFTT Competition Dance Team, and TomHat enjoys almost every sport the Russellville Park and Rec offers (but he loves YouTube and his grandparents the most). We attend Russellville First Baptist Church and we love worshipping with our church family. We have a rescue dog named Roxy who is the best dog in the entire world, and Mackie Drew has two rescue cats named Dolly and Cash. We adore Roxy; however, we simply tolerate the cats because we love Mackie Drew. 

My Goals:

As you can tell, I am truly an example of what it means to be #forevergolden. I consider it an honor and privilege to serve students here at RMS. My goal is to ensure every child feels safe, respected, and loved. Thank you for allowing us to serve you children each day. It is not something we take lightly.
