This is my 2nd year at Russellville Middle School, where I teach 7th Grade Civics and Geography and 8th Grade World History. I am the head Middle School baseball coach and an assistant varsity baseball coach. I am a 2016 graduate of the University of North Alabama, summa cum laude with my BS in Social Science and in 2020 I completed my master's in Social Science, with a focus on History. While at UNA, I was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Kappa Delta Pi, Gamma Theta Upsilon honor societies, voted Secondary Education Student of the Month and recipient of the Social Studies Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for 2017. In 2017, I taught 9th grade World History and 11th grade United States History at Sheffield High School and was the assistant varsity baseball coach. From 2017 until 2018, I worked in the Special Education department at Muscle Shoals Middle School and from 2018 until 2019 I taught 8th grade World History at Muscle Shoals Middle School. In 2019, I made the move to Muscle Shoals High School where I taught 9th grade Pre-AP World History and 10th grade AP U.S. History until 2020. I enjoy spending time with my family and my pets. I recently married my wife Reyna, who is a graduate of Russellville High School. In my free time, you can find me in the gym. I love history and have a special passion for historical conspiracy theories. I am proud to be a part of the Russellville School System and I look forward to a great school year.
