Hi!

My name is Shannon O'Neal. I'm a 2nd grade teacher at West Elementary School. I will be starting my 23rd year of teaching during the 2020-2021 school year.  I have been happily married for nearly 30 years ( Sept. 15th,  2020). I have 2 children. My daughter Libby is 29 years old, has a degree in Finance and works in Huntsville at Raytheon Technologies.  My son Luke is 27 years old, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and just moved to Houston,Texas to begin working at the Johnson Space Center. I LOVE teaching and working with children. I look forward to a wonderful school year!!
